Aerologix is a Sydney-based drone start-up that provides a marketplace for clients to locate their local drone pilot to complete aerial imagery projects. They are a technology company that enables drone pilots to complete complex data captures, 3D surveys and photogrammetry through a widespread distribution platform.​

Impact

Aerologix has over 27,000 drone pilots on a network across Australia and New Zealand. More than 1,000 missions completed in over 70 locations across Australia. They achieved $2 million capital raise and strategic acquisition of Brazilian mapping software company Mappa in 2023. Aerologix's technology supports 135 different drone types, catering to diverse industries including renewable energy, construction, real estate and infrastructure.

Impact

CarbonAi’s leadership team has over 75 years of experience in carbon finance and carbon markets, and engineering and project management for complex energy projects in the Middle East and Africa. CarbonAi Solutions, a proprietary software platform, has integrated over 12,500 methane-emitting devices, managed over 1.5 million files in 13 countries, and supported the verification of over 3.1 million tonnes of CO2 reductions, reducing verification data error (and related costs) from 7% to less than 1%. In 2023, CarbonAi announced collaboration with Oando PLC across several initiatives that will reduce GHG emissions in Nigeria and accelerate the country’s energy transition, including flared gas capture and usage projects, and its sustainable transport program.

ClearTracker has been continuously refined for more than 20 years, validated with data from more than 200,000 wells. In 2018 the Government of Canada invested $1.6M to collaborate with Clearstone to support research into technologies and practices that detect, quantify and reduce volatile organic compounds and methane emissions. In partnership with Validere, Xpansiv and Pacific Canbriam Energy, Clearstone received $1.2M of support through Sustainable Development Technology Canada in 2021 to accelerate the development technology that supports the low emissions gas market in Canada and globally.​

Impact

Cultivo raised $14 million Series A funding in January 2024 co-led by MassMutual Ventures and Octopus Energy Generation to build on its existing pipeline of high-quality nature-based carbon removal projects, allowing Cultivo to further accelerate its AI-driven science and technology platform. Cultivo signed an agreement with Octopus Energy Generation to deploy up to $40 million into natural capital projects across North America, Europe and Australasia.​

Impact

In May 2023, Devvstream launched Buildings and Facilities Carbon Offset Program (BFCOP), a first-of-its-kind offset project that aims to reduce the barrier to entry for organizations seeking to generate carbon credit revenue within energy efficiency activities, onsite renewable energy generation, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Later in July 2023, they launched American carbon registry-aligned program for reducing methane emissions from orphaned oil and gas wells.​

Planet, Earth’s partner, has built and successfully deployed 450 satellites, and currently operates over 200 in orbit collecting over 350M sq km of imagery daily.​

Highwood is the Technical Director of Veritas, a GTI Energy Differentiated Gas Measurement and Verification Initiative, which is developing methodologies for measurement informed emissions intensity.
